Beku was incubated at NSRCEL, IIM B, when founders Palak and Nandini realised that India is full of under-utilised crops and forgotten fruits that people remember from childhood, but rarely find anymore. (Think mulberries from your grandmother's backyard, or starfruit sliced with salt on a hot day.) So they spoke to farmers, understood their challenges, and worked their way up to not only reviving and bottling these forgotten flavours, but also showing the world what India really tastes like, and helping people reconnect with the joy of growing up here.
