The 'Mysore Mangoes' artwork on this Maachis matchbox is inspired by the famous 'Three Mangoes' vintage matchbox art. Made of ivory-finished wood, each matchbox comes with safety matches, a striking surface and dual magnetic closures on both sides. Founded by Sonal Nagwani and Kevin Thomas, Maachis is an art revival project that is reimagining matchboxes as a modern medium of storytelling. They celebrate the intersection of design and culture and aim to give new life to India's forgotten matchbox art in the form of bold, handcrafted pieces.
