Coco Custo believes that sustainability should not be a choice or a chore, and that sustainable products need not cost the earth - both of which are sentiments we can get behind. One of our favourite finds last year was the Beco compostable garbage bag (biodegradable is not the same as compostable and compostable beats biodegradable), and Coco Custo's laundry detergent is next on our list of environment-friendly swaps to make at home. While we already use laundry detergent with clean ingredients, what draws us to Coco Custo is their commmitment to zero waste. Their detergent is shipped in reusable steel tins, and their refills come in kraft paper bags. While their detergents contain built-in softener and stain removal properties, for very stubborn stains, discolouration or odors, they suggest using it along with their chlorine-free Oxygen Booster formulation.
