A tiny, lo-fi digital camera keychain that leans into retro nostalgia and blind-box chaos.
We’ve been seeing the Kodak CHARMERA keychain camera all over our Instagram, and like most shoppers who are chronically online, we’re intrigued. It sits right at the intersection of three things the internet currently can’t get enough of: retro, low-fi aesthetics, blind-box unboxing culture, and a small rebellion against overly perfect smartphone photos. It’s ridiculously tiny, oddly adorable, and truly, a collectible, meant more for vibes and experimentation than for pixel-peeping. By most accounts, the video quality is firmly lo-fi, the screen is tiny, and you’ll need to add your own microSD card. But that’s also kind of the point: this is about leaning into imperfect, physical-feeling memories over pristine, AI-smoothed ones. Consider this our official petition to bring back physical media and slightly chaotic documentation of life.
We are driven by curiosity, and a deep love for product, and are committed to transparency. We scour the internet to find products we love—from brands we trust. We look for things that stand out for their distinctive design, quality and mindfulness. We recommend these finds on the Souk website and in our newsletters—and tell you exactly why we like them. Like any friend would do.
If you're new to this, here's the deal — when you buy something through a link on Souk, we may earn a percentage of the sale, but it is at no extra cost to you. This allows us to remain independent and focused on curating only what we genuinely love. Any ad or sponsored post will be clearly labelled as such — there are no secret product placements on Souk! Each time you use our links to buy something, it supports our team's hard work as your trusted shopping buddy.
