The wool for this jacket from Kullvi Whims—a women-led social enterprise from the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh—was sourced from the free-grazing sheep of gaddi shepherds practising sustainable grazing, spun into yarn by artisans on traditional taklis and charkhas, and dyed naturally with plants and berries from the surrounding landscape. We love the timeless, contemporary take on the traditional men's shepherd jacket, and highly recommend wearing it often for as many winters and travels-to-cold-climes as possible, before passing it on as a family heirloom!
