The wool for this plaid shirt from Kullvi Whims—a women-led social enterprise from the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh—was sourced from the free-grazing sheep of gaddi shepherds practising sustainable grazing, spun into yarn by artisans on traditional taklis and charkhas, and dyed naturally with marigold, walnut, and sapanwood.
