Pre-sliced caperberries, perfect for tossing onto cheese boards, garnishing a cocktail, or eating straight from the jar for a low-calorie, salty-sour, crunchy snack.
Capers are the unopen flower buds (picked young and punchy), while caper berries are the fully grown fruit that develops after the flower petals fall off (milder, larger, and crunchier). We love these pre-sliced caperberries, 'cos they are incredibly convenient to toss onto a cheese board or antipasto platter (to cut right through rich bries and cured meats) or a chilli spaghetti, eat straight out of the jar (especially when we're craving a low-calorie, salty-sour, pickle-like crunch), or drop into a dry martini or a savory gin and tonic for a sophisticated, visual cocktail garnish!
Founded by Fiona Arakal and Srikant Suryanarayan in the dry scrublands of Tamil Nadu, Ishka Farms is India’s very first commercial caper farm. Built on 365 acres of formerly barren land, this remarkable project is a masterclass in regenerative agriculture. Driven entirely by solar energy, groundwater conservation, and zero-waste farming, the farm also serves as a vital community anchor—providing year-round, ethical employment to local village women who hand-harvest every single bud.
